God is good, and God is love

He is a constant expression of Love

No matter what the circumstance looks like

I will not bow to situations

By questioning God’s identity

No matter what things look like 

God is good, and my God is love

His expressions of love never cease

His goodness knows no end

He is every thing I lean on

He is steadfast, He does not bend

So I will fall on the fate that comes

Though storms rage

And tempest surge

I bring my heart bared open and wait

What the fire and storm

Will burn and purge

You are a good and you are love

My understanding is small

You are good and you are love

I don’t want to fight

            Against the flame you bring

Purge me; perfect me

            Become my everything
